live in Tamworth in the County of Staffordshire. England we are part of Midlands
Region .Tamworth is a historic market town and stands at the convergence of
the River Tame and the River Anker, it boasts a number historical buildings
and straddles the famous Roman Watling Street also known as the A5.
Tamworth Castle is a typical Norman motte and bailey castle, it houses a museum and tells the story of Tamworth's history and it's connections with royalty, it also houses a ghost, the legendary St Editha, the white lady.
Each year in October Tamworth Castle has an event called Castle by Candlelight you are guided around the Castle by candlelight learning of its history by people in period costume.
It attracts thousands of visitors each year, the Guides have been and spent an enjoyable evening, come long this year and see for yourselves.
There are many leisure facilities in the town including the Tamworth Snow Dome the only indoor real snow Ski Centre in the United Kingdom, Drayton Manor Park, and Strykers Bowl also we have Swimming Baths, Tennis Courts and Children's playgrounds.
