Penguins Patrol
Hi we are the Penguins Patrol.
We've been to Cafe' Ceramica. This is a craft centre where you choose a piece of white unglazed pottery and you paint it in your own design.
The staff there show you different techniques to get differing effects.
They serve coffee or other drinks and snacks to keep you going. Music plays in the background and it is so relaxing. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
You can paint something for yourself or give it away as a gift to a friend or relative.When we went there was a whole range of ceramics to choose from.
There were mugs,dishes,vases,photo frames,teapots,money boxes and a variety of plaques.Some of us painted plates and others painted door plaques and mugs.

We also like working on ‘Go for its’ we have done chocolate, football, flights of fancy, animals and teamwork so far.
We were recently asked by our Association HQ to help pilot a new one. It is based on TV/Film and photography. We organised a fashion photo shoot, we made our own lip gloss and we had a glamour night where we all practiced make up and Hair techniques.
Our Guiders have also got involved and produced quizzes for us. The best was based on music used on TV. We listened to a short extract and had to guess the advert or film. All great fun, we can’t wait until the official ‘Go for it’ is released in the autumn
